We’re kicking things off by announcing Saturday evening’s performance: Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. We're beyond stoked to announce The Brook & The Bluff as our headliners at Wilson Park for Shindig!
A Nashville-based band originally from Birmingham, AL, blends expertly crafted songs with sublime musicianship. Named after the neighborhoods where they grew up, the band—fronted by Joseph Settine with John and Kevin Canada and Alec Bolton—has gained widespread acclaim for their dynamic sound.
Their latest release, Bluebeard, builds on the success of their previous albums First Place and Yard Sale, captivating fans with songs like "Halfway Up" and "Bad Bad News." Known for their intricate harmonies and inventive arrangements, The Brook & The Bluff have toured extensively, sharing the stage with Mt. We're excited to announce SistaStrings at Wilson Park for Shindig! SistaStrings, the dynamic duo of sisters Chauntee and Monique Ross, bring a stunning blend of classical training and contemporary sound to the stage. With Chauntee on violin and Monique on cello, they fuse their love for classical music with R&B, hip-hop, and gospel, creating a genre-defying experience.
Originally from Milwaukee and now based in Nashville, they’ve shared the stage with artists like Brandi Carlile, Joni Mitchell, and Ed Sheeran. Their powerful performances, combining soulful melodies and virtuosic talent, have made them some of the most sought-after musicians in the industry today.

Chef Adam Evans, a Muscle Shoals native and James Beard Award winner, is the Executive Chef and Owner of Automatic Seafood & Oysters and Chef / Partner of Current Charcoal Grill in Birmingham, AL. With a passion for cooking sparked in childhood, Evans has built a distinguished career across the U.S., focusing on high-quality seafood and diverse, sustainable flavors.
Sean Brock
Sean Brock, a chef from rural Virginia, has been a leader in reviving Southern cuisine for over 20 years. A James Beard Award winner and best-selling author, he is known for his acclaimed cookbooks Heritage and SOUTH and appearances on shows like Mind of a Chef and Chef's Table. Brock continues to innovate with his Nashville restaurants, JOYLAND, AUDREY, and june, aiming to make a lasting impact on local culture and cuisine.
Bill Briand
Bill Briand, a five-time James Beard nominee for Best Chef South, is opening a new restaurant called Little Bird in downtown Fairhope Alabama in honor of his late mother, Virginia Eileen. With over 30 years of experience in Gulf Coast kitchens, including Emeril's and Cochon in New Orleans, Briand is renowned for his expertise in butchery and curing, as well as his commitment to using high-quality local ingredients to create dishes that celebrate his culinary roots and family traditions.
Josh Quick
Josh Quick came to Northwest Alabama by working at the Marriott Shoals, a popular hotel in the area, and before that, earned his culinary training through an American Culinary Federation apprenticeship at Walt Disney World. At Odette, his focus is on American food with Southern and International influences, and through the years, he’s earned the trust of loyal regulars, so he gets to be creative with the ever evolving menu.
